The folders that start with "SD" contain sounds in SOUND DESIGNER format, which you can open with SoundEdit, Sound Designer, and SoundWave.  The folders that start with "AIFF" contain sounds in AUDIO INTERCHANGE FILE FORMAT, which any state-of-the-art Macintosh sound-program should be able to handle.
